Yoga

Yoga brings balance and wellbeing to the mind, body and spirit through stretching and strengthening practices (asana). It also releases stress, anxiety and tension and increases energy levels through breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation and meditation techniques. By connecting thought, breath and posture Yoga aligns the mental physical and emotional bodies. Yoga practice brings us back to the present moment to still the mind, expand the heart and return to self.

Take your practice further and explore your limits with our NEW Ashtanga Yoga Play course! These classes will use traditional Ashtanga Sun Salutations A and B to get nice and warm and followed by a series of preparatory postures to lead us naturally towards the exploration of some of the more challenging Ashtanga Asana’s (postures). The pace and design of this class allows each student to spend more time working on a posture at their own level but also with the guidance of a teacher. Regular attendance at Yoga classes or completion of the Beginner’s course is a minimum prerequisite for joining this intermediate level course.
