The stadium in particular is home a number of sporting leagues, whose dominant age demographic are young people, and also is home to the YMCAs gymnastics and basketball programmes for children and young people.

In addition to operational excellence, the Recreation and Wellbeing Manager will also create and execute strategic plans and budgets, work with others to implement and enable any marketing or promotions initiatives, oversee all staff recruitment and processes, oversee necessary accounts/payroll/administration requirements and manage the performance of their direct reports with clear KPIs and regular appraisals.

Instructors are expected to rotate around the different roles at the Adventure Centre, responsible for facilitating Clip ‘n Climb sessions, providing outstanding customer service when working at reception and delivering instruction on our main climbing wall.
Two roles are available – Weekend Instructor (2 weekends a month, 18 hours work each weekend, and additional casual work) or Weekend Duty Manager (3 weekends a month, 18 hours work each weekend, additional casual work). We are looking to fill 2 customer service roles. Customer Service Reps are expected to assist in the opening of the facility each day, manage emails, process bookings, answer the phone and keep the facility clean and tidy. Additionally, responsibilities include performing daily tasks, assisting customers with the sign-in process and assisting with Clip ‘n Climb briefings.
These are fixed term positions (6 months) and hours are around 18.5 a week averaged over a month.

We need supervisors that are at least 20 years of age, have a current First Aid Certificate, and have a good understanding and experience of working with young people.
We currently run active, creative, performing and general programmes, which you will help create, plan and develop.
This is full time work while school holidays are running, with up to 6 hours of additional paid training prior to the programme starting.

As a volunteer leader you will work as part of a team, alongside and experienced supervisor, to run the programme. You can expect to get involved wi the kids, manage your group and the behaviours, role model a positive attitude and have a great experience!
Some of the activities you may be involved in are: movies, tenpin bowling, mini-golf, swimming, Antarctic Centre, sports, art & crafts, outdoor adventure days, inddor climbing and the list goes on! You will be required between the hours of 8:30am to 5pm, and must be 15yrs or over.
