For over 22 years the YMCA Education Centre has provided a safe and positive learning environment for young people in education, training and employment related skills.
We offer NZQA approved courses aimed specifically towards young school leavers up to 17 years of age who are unsure of what it is they want to do.
We work with each student to motivate and educate – to help them become a success.
Our FREE COURSES aim to raise each student’s self-esteem, confidence and motivation so they can realise their potential and achieve.
We provide a safe, supportive environment to assist young people to gain attributes to take them to the next step in achieving further educatioan, employment, training or life specific skills. We have great success working with young people to identify and achieve their goals and assisting them to their 'next step.'
