For over 22 years the YMCA Education Centre has provided a safe and positive learning environment for young people in employment related skills.
We offer a variety of NZQA approved courses aimed specifically towards young school leavers up to 18 years of age who are unsure of what it is they want to do.
We work with each student to motivate and educate – to help them become a success.
Our FREE COURSES aim to raise each student’s self-esteem, confidence and motivation so they can realise their potential and achieve.
We provide a safe, supportive environment to assist young people to gain attributes to take them to the next step in achieving employment, training or life specific skills. We have great success in assisting youth into part and full-time employment, or on to other training schemes once they have worked out where they want to be.
