Holiday Camps
YMCA Wainui Park offers programmes for children and youth during the school holidays. Experienced staff and trained leaders will look after your child 24 hours a day, and our chefs will feed them delicious meals. Guaranteed to send them home safe, happy and VERY VERY TIRED.
We generally run holiday camps for 9-17 year olds in January, April and September school holidays. Brochures regarding all you need to know about holiday camps are available from the Christchurch YMCA, anytime. They include heaps more info about camp as well as info about all the other holiday programmes the Y offers throughout the year.

The cost is $235. The camp is CYF approved and therefore eligible for a WINZ/OSCAR subsidy. YMCA scholarships are also available upon application to assist with fees. International students will need to show residency or prove that they go to school in New Zealand. International students who do not go to school in New Zealand will be granted spaces on the camps if there are still spaces available one month before the camp begins at a cost of $330 per camper.
Leadership Training
Brochures are available about leadership training for those aged 16 and over and wanting to help with Wainui camps.
