Raise up and Represent - Youth Leadership Programme
The YMCA offers a dynamic and needs based leadership programme to young
people aged 12-15 years who want to develop their leadership potential,
make new friends, develop confidence and experience a range of
activities in a safe environment.
The programme focus is on leadership and social development through an adventure and activities based programme.
It also prepares and enables the junior leaders to gain some insight into becoming a youth leader on our holiday programmes.
The leadership courses covers a variety of the following;
· Values
· Teambuilding
· Communication and Trust
· Conflict Resolution
· Camps
· Leadership Styles
· Problem Solving
· Service Learning
· Outdoor Skills
· Self-esteem
The programme runs weekly on a Monday night from 4-5.30pm, for 8 weeks of each term . The programme is available to any person aged 12-15 years. $85 per term all inclusive.
