The YMCA Health & Fitness centres are ideally located - one in the heart of the city opposite the Arts Centre and Botanical Gardens on Hereford Street, and the other at Bishopdale Mall.

Both centres have easy, free carparking and good facilities with awesome, friendly down to earth staff who are highly experienced and qualified, we provide free inductions and programmes with all memberships.

Membership is reciprocal, so join the Y and join both sites for the price of one depending on your mood or needs on any given day. *(some discounted memberships are not reciprocal).

  • A range of FREE classes for members in our air conditioned, sprung floor exercise studio.
  • FREE Inductions and programming sessions for members AND affordable Personal Training packages with qualified and experienced Personal Trainers.
  • A dedicated air conditioned Spin Studio with classes scheduled six days a week, and a separate Circuit Room equipped with the latest Life Fitness Circuit Series.
  • We also have plenty of FREE lockers, and FREE car parking.
