ANZAC Dawn Service Commemoration

25 April 2016, 6:15am
Cranmer Square

The First World War of 1914–1918 affected more than those who went away— it touched nearly every New Zealand family, every community, school, workplace and club or group.

The YMCA was instrumental in providing trench side support during this time. In a continuation of this support a staff team will be representing the Christchurch YMCA at the dawn service in Cranmer this ANZAC Day morning, serving free hot chocolate at the end of the service.
