The YMCA Climbing Wall is open to the public in the evenings and on Saturdays. Anyone can come and climb - whether you are a beginner or a pro our climbing wall floor manager will provide appropriate support and training depending on your level.
Our Climbing Wall is huge - with a relaxed atmosphere and inclusive for all types and ages of people!
YMCA Christchurch Climbing Wall Hours
Monday - Friday: 5pm - 9pm.
Saturdays: 1pm - 6pm.
Sundays: 1pm - 6pm
Children under the age of 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver - unless otherwise authorised by Management.

Specials
Monday Nights - Student night: $7 entry and includes free harness hire (I.D must be shown).
Flat Rate Friday - $7 entry free (with own gear) OR $10 entry hear (includes gear hire).
For the Family Weekend:
1 Adult and 1 child - $10 entry fee
1 Adult and 2 children - $15 entry fee
2 Adults and 2 children - $20 entry free
Note: Adults can only be belayed by a child over the age of 14. Belayers who are not climbing are free. Family weekend rates exclude hire.
